CSKA Moscow Season Review

Last weekend, CSKA Moscow secured their sixth Russian championship after beating Rubin Kazan 1-0 in the final fixture of the season. CSKA Back On Top After Mordovia Trashing

When Mordovia and CSKA last met in September, the score was 6-4 in favour of the 10-men Muscovites, who came back from 3-0 down. Army Men Back on Top After Defeating Kuban

A brace from striker Ahmed Musa gave CSKA a 2-0 win over Kuban Krasnodar and a return to the summit of the Russian Premier League. In December, 2013 the 20 year old CSKA Moscow striker Konstantin Bazelyuk won the Best Young Football Player in Russia award, as he went in the footsteps of teammates Igor Akinfeev, Alan Dzagoev and Georgy Schennikov who had all won the prize before him.
