RFPL Round 17: Results and Team of the Week

In what is arguably the most unpredictable and exciting RFPL season in years, results took somewhat of a turn towards normality in Round 17. Last week, only two of the top five recorded victories (Krasnodar and Spartak), here, four did. RFPL Round 16: Results and Team of the Week

Only two of the RFPL top six recorded victories today, as Spartak broke into the top five for the first time this season courtesy of an impressive 3-1 comeback victory over Ufa. Their inability to hold onto a lead has hampered them all season, having dropped fourteen points from winning positions this season. Last week was arguably one of the most boring rounds of Premier League action since the inception of the division in 1992. RFPL Round Three Review

  Three is the magic number in the Russian Football Premier League. After the third round, the triumvirate of Lokomotiv, and Akhmat are the only sides to have won all three games.
