Last week was incredibly succesful for RFN, as both Toke Theilade and Andrew Flint recorded a surplus. Toke hit a nice 3,3 with €10 when Terek drew with Dinamo and he finished, while Andrew’s €10 on Krasnodar not to score in the first half secured him a surplus on €1.
This weekend Shane Burns and Ben Clark will do whatever they can to give you the best bets from the Russian Premier League. Shane will hope to do better than in Week Two where he didn’t hit any bets right, while Ben will be giving his first advice this week.

Bet One: €10 Accumulation of Zenit and Spartak victories @2.73 at Bet365
Both sides have started the season impressively and are currently two of four teams that are gunning for the two Champions League places. On the flip side, their opponents have not started the season in promising form as newly promoted Anzhi are still chasing their first win after obtaining promotion with such an impression. Krylia on the other hand may have started the season in a more promising fashion than their promotion rivals, but it’s difficult to see anything other than a win for AVB’s men.
Bet Two: €5 Lokomotiv Moscow - FC Krasnodar: Over 2.5 goals @2.35 at Bet365
For me, this is the most exciting game of the weekend as I feel it will be the closest and most entertaining. Last season’s Europa League qualifiers Krasnodar may not have started the season as well as last year but there is no denying their impressiveness in highlights already throughout the season. Lokomotiv have no doubt been the surprise team of the opening game weeks and I do feel their form will continue with a win, however a close and entertaining battle should lay in store with more than 2.5 goals during the game incredibly likely given the odds above.
Bet Three: €5 Rostov-Amkar: Draw @3.5 at Bet365
Normally in betting terms a draw is a complex result to predict, however this fixture stands out when looking for a bargain this weekend. With four draws already this season, Rostov have surprised many by keeping themselves a considerable distance from the relegation zone,however they have often come unstuck when attempting to un-lock the door of many teams.

Bet One: €10 Spartak Moscow - Anji Makhachkala: Spartak win and both teams to score @3.75 at Bet365
Despite very contrasting fortunes so far this season, both teams have shown very forceful attacking threat. Spartak have scored in every game so far whist Anji have only fired one blank so far this term. With Spartak possessing one of the league’s top goal scorers, they constantly carry a goal threat with Quincy Promes playing. Even though Anji have scored in a majority of their games this term, their awful defence is sure to leak again away to an attacking Spartak side who continue their pressure on the top three.
Bet Two: €5 Lokomotiv - Krasnodar: Lokomotiv (-1) X @3.6 at Bet365
These two sides have shown very impressive defences this season. Krasnodar have the tied best defence with leaders CSKA Moscow whilst Lokomotiv Moscow have the third best defence in the league conceding just one more. Their attacking forces are vastly contrasting though. Lokomotiv have scored 11 goals this term whilst Krasnodar have the fifth lowest record. In eight previous meetings between the sides, Lokomotiv have won five of them but the most recent meetings between the two sides ended in a win for The Bulls. With all this in mind, I can see Lokomotiv winning but Krasnodar’s mean defence might make it difficult for their attack to run rampant again.
Bet Three: Mordovia - Rubin Kazan: Mordovia to win and both teams to score @8.00 at Bet365
What’s a bet without sticking your neck on the line? Now this one is incredibly outrageous but I believe there is a better chance of it happening than people think. Looking at the stats, Rubin Kazan have the league’s joint worse defence and despite it being a close affair which could prove pivotal at the end of the season, at home I think Mordovia will adopt an attacking mentality. Now Rubin have only scored twice this season but if Mordovia adopt an attacking approach, they will be left open at the back which will gift opportunities to Rubin. A bold bet, but a result which is more likely to occur than most would realise.
