The Russian national team coach Fabio Capello has called up 25 for the friendly against Belarus on Sunday, next week. Two more players will join the squad for the important EURO qualifier against Austria a week later.

The two Rostov players Ivan Novoseltsev and Artem Dzyuba will join the national team for the EURO qualifier against Austria. Because of Rostov’s two relegation play off matches, they will miss the friendly against Belarus.
Capello has cut Yuri Lodygin (Zenit St. Petersburg), Vladimir Gabulov (Dinamo Moscow), Georgi Shennikov (CSKA Moscow), Andrei Semenov (Terek Grozny), Georgy Tigiev (Torpedo Moscow), Igor Denisov (Dinamo Moscow), Roman Zobnin (Dinamo Moscow), Aleksandr Ryazantsev (Zenit St. Petersburg), Maksim Kanunnikov (Rubin Kazan), Igor Portnyagin (Rubin Kazan), Fedor Smolov (FC Ural) and Denis Cheryshev (Villareal). He has included the two CSKA youngsters Aleksandr Golovin and Nikita Chernov, who were not in the original 38 man squad.
