The 2014/15 season has seen a dramatic change in fortunes for Tatarstan based club Rubin Kazan. The former Champions League contenders had their worst season for seven years in 2014, finishing in 9th place, and sacking legendary long term manager Kurban Berdyev after 11 years and two league titles with the club, in the process.
